2001 — dougray.net

A long time ago, a small group of fans built a website devoted to Dougray Scott. That first site, dougrayscott.com, was eventually abandoned — but the group didn't stop there. They opened a second site, dougray.net, which you can still see today exactly as it looked back then, preserved by the Wayback Machine.

dougray.net becomes DougrayScott.net

dougray.net later became DougrayScott.net. By that point, I'd stepped back from my involvement in the website, and the project moved on without me.

The domain goes quiet

Years later, I noticed the dougrayscott.net domain had lapsed and become available again. I bought it — mostly out of nostalgia — and then didn't do anything with it for a long time.

2026 — starting again, just because

This relaunch isn't tied to any particular news or anniversary. It's simply time to use the domain for what it was always meant for: an unofficial, fan-run home for Dougray Scott's work, past and present.
